Transferring

I want to transfer to USC in a year or so. I’m really worried about my GPA though. I have a 3.0 at the moment, but I’m planning on re-taking some classes so that I can get A’s. Does USC frown upon re-taking classes?

We have a transfer thread going on in the transfer students forum. Check it out! We’re always on the first page…

USC doesn’t offer grade forgiveness, so you will not erase your bad grades by retaking the classes. If I were you, I would just strive to get all A’s in your classes this semester and next semester to bring your GPA up. 3.5 and above is what you need. Depending on your major or if you want to attend a school within USC, you might need higher stats though
