<p>So I’m at GWU and my freshman grades weren’t AMAZING but my ec’s were pretty up there (a job and internship during the academic year and two internships this summer with recommendations from both). When I was applying to colleges for the first time, I was admitted to UWisc but did not go and I was waitlisted by UMich because my high school lost my 9th grade transcript so by the time UMich could process my documents, there was literally no space left. Would I have any chance of transferring into UMich or UWisc, considering my poor grades (roughly a 2.8 overall) and background with them?</p>
<p>Try to aim for a 3.5+ next two semesters, and apply as a junior transfer.</p>
