transfers at tufts?

How hard is it to get acclimated as a transfer? does Tufts have some sort of Transfer Association to help transfer students get involved on campus?

im also interested, so bump

There’s no association and not really even a separate orientation, but I’ve found the small size of Tufts to be extremely welcoming to transfers. Advisers/professors are great, and you can simply make friends with the gasp non-transfers in your classes/dorms/clubs, etc.

Im a transfer from tufts last year and have just finished my first semester at tufts yesterday. I found it very easy to get acclimated here. The professors and student body are all very nice and personable. The transfers all undergo a special transfer orientation where I met a majority of my transfer friends. I havent found that my friendships are limited to just transfers though. I met a lot of people through my classes and dorm. Oh and as for getting involved on campus, there is so much to get involved in here that you just have to reach out and grab whatever you’re interested in. There is a myriad of opportunities. I was a walk on for the soccer team, joined club cycling and tennis, and participate in research with my advising professor. College is what you make it. That’s why I transferred. That’s why I got so involved at Tufts.
