<p>How are transfers from schools like Hampshire or NCF treated? I want to spend a year in a college like that before attempting to transfer to a Claremont/Occidental/etc. Is that potentially possible/has anyone done it?</p>
<p>Every single college admissions officer in the country knows that different institutions have different grade reporting systems. Don’t worry about this one. If you start out at one of these schools, and then transfer to one with a more conventional grading system, the transfer admissions officers will be able to tell you just exactly what they need your first institution to provide them with.</p>
