D and two friends (all about to be college juniors) are about to embark on 10 days of travel. They have all been abroad for the summer, and started the summer with vague plans about meeting up somewhere and traveling at the end of the summer. Well, it is about to be the end of summer and they finally have figured out where they are going: Budapest (where they are meeting), Prague, and Berlin.

Other than having decided where they are going, the extent of their planning thus far includes a hotel reservation in Budapest (thank you Priceline), and an idea that they will spend two full days in each city. That is it. Oh, D does want to visit the Museum of Medieval Torture in Prague, although she is not sure that her travel companions will be on board for that.

So, any recommendations for them (sites, restaurants, travel tips . . .)?
