I’ve just commented on two current travel related questions. I know I am not the only CCer that appreciates the advice and comments of others on this board. The question of a specific Travel Forum within Parent Cafe was raised and several indicated an interest, but no formal yea or nay was ever given. To the mods: Is this something that could be tried???

While many like minded parents are on CC, personally I’d recommend TripAdvisor forum for travel related topics.
^^^ I use TA extensively and would advise others to visit it also. With CC posters, I feel I have a sense of the individuals behind the advice/suggestions. This is in contrast to TA where frequently one or two “experts” dominate and advice/suggestions are understandably skewed to these posters biases. I like having multiple options. CC discussions to me are more of a fun “chat” and sharing about a location as well as place to get ideas.

I’m not opposed to the idea, but I kind of like the travel threads mixed in with the rest of the parent cafe. On many threads that start as specific travel questions, we discuss all kinds of things.
