Has anyone used a travel health plan for a very senior person? I am mainly finding options for people 85 and below. This is for travel to Western Europe.
I just tried to price an annual plan for travel insurance for a person over 70 years old and was told that the plan I was considering was NOT available! I am curious as well as to what’s available. We have been traveling with folks who are 90, 85+ and also 73. It is getting more challenging to find companies who want to insure these folks, so I have been mostly relying on the insurance that our CC provides as well as our BCBS, which DOES provide some coverage for care internationally.
