It’s an early wedding. We went to a fabulous wedding in Boston…the cocktail hour was really great. They had lots of fruit drinks, plus mimosas and bloody Mary’s. This reception we went to was a true brunch…with stations for breakfast things like omelettes and waffles, and lunch stations for various soups and all sorts of delicious sandwiches.
Dancing followed the brunch…and yes, it was in the afternoon.
Like @deb922 we made a day trip out of it (we were invited to the night before event, and a pizza party the evening of the wedding but a lot later…but went only to the wedding).
It was really fun!
