I’m considering planning a trip to Germany, but one person in the party takes medicine that needs to be refrigerated.
Does anyone have experience with this? How do you keep it cold yet get it through security?

We get a note from the doctor and the medicine H takes gave us a traveling case that holds the medicine and an ice pack. He uses syringes though so that might change things.
We’ve only packed it once though and security didn’t say anything.
But the doctors office should have information on how to travel with the medicine
I once sat next to a woman who was pumping her breast milk. She said her bag keeps it refrigerated.
Ice packs inside an insulated pouch. Our local TSA said that as long as the ice packs are frozen, they can go through. But check the official TSA site because I know actual practices vary by airport.
A different airport said nothing about the ice packs.
I traveled frequently with Forteo. It was syringes and I had a special insulated bag with ice packs for it. I never had any problem with security.
When we did a cross-country trip by van, my parents got me a small fridge that ran off the car battery to keep my injectables cold.
When we went overseas, we used ice packs for the plane and were able to get the hotel to store my meds in their refrigerator. Not all hotels in Europe have in-room fridges.
Be sure to carry a prescription for the meds.
