Trendy GPA

What if your GPA started out poorly (half B's in frosh year) and then started trending upwards (all A's in soph and junior yrs)? Do colleges look at it as they would look at any other 4.0 student, or do they look at it as possibly even better (someone who got his act together)? Or is it not as good as having a 4.0?

Also, which colleges do not even consider freshman year grades?

Okay. Half B's freshman year isn't "poorly" by a longshot. Poorly is failing classes. Stop worrying about it because the grades you've gotten are the grades you've gotten and you have to work with what you have. And I believe that there are plenty of good schools that don't look at freshman year grades, anyway.
