Alright, finally scheduled my interview for Monday. It’s my first and only interview so I really don’t know what to expect. I got three questions for all you experts out there.

First, my interviewer made no mention over the phone of what I should wear. Are khakis and a polo to casual?

Second, what kinda questions did your interviewer ask? (specifics would be nice.)

And third, what kind of questions did you ask them?

I just had mine todaayyy so hopefully I can help!

Khakis and a polo sounds fine, just don’t wear open-toed shoes or sneakers with them…

Mine gave me every question I was expecting and nothing more, it was really quite perfect. Like… “why do you want to go to georgetown?” “what are your favorite subjects?” “what activities are you involved in during school?” “what jobs/activities do you do after school” and that was basically it, b/c in my answers i think i answered some of the other questions she was planning on asking…

I asked her what she thought differenciated gtown from other schools, made it stand out…

GOOD LUCK feel free to ask any more questions!

Mine talked about my current school, favorite courses and why, other schools i’m applying to, why georgetown, current issues with me… like the Irving case and the civil war in iraq. i guess that’s a little out of the ordinary but it’s ok… i’m applying for sfs.
