If this is already a topic forgive me, I’m new here.
I was wondering if Trigonometry is counted toward the BCPM or science GPA. I’m worried because I may get a C in the class. If it does count and I indeed get a C should I retake it or continue on to Calculus I?
Thank you!!
According the AMCAS Course Classification Guide, if the class had a MATH designation, it counts toward you BCPM GPA.

For any re-taken coursework, AMCAS will include both the original and the repeated course’s grades in GPA calculations.
Re-take the class if you feel you don’t have a strong grasp of the fundamentals–you’ll need a strong understanding of concepts and techniques of algebra/trig in order to do well in both calculus and chemistry.
