Daughter just she got an email two weeks ago for results soon. She just got in this afternoon. We are both alums and Trinity has not contacted her since her application so we were concerned.

No merit aid. If she decides to attend we will ask only if other colleges offer her merit.

Did anyone hear about the gateway programs? Or know when the accepted students will hear?

Hello all - Just got my acceptance, no mention of any FA or scholarship - does that mean you will not receive any and it is full tuition? how do you get into the financial aid portal? Tuition is hefty so I would have no way to consider if anything awarded would have come on the letter. Congrats to all!

Looking on the Trinity website it said financial aid awards for RD will come out in early April. So maybe we have to wait a little! Just seems odd because every other college sent their merit/FA included with the RD acceptance. I emailed Financial Aid to inquire, will report back when I hear. Congrats to all!

Do they only do aid based on FASFA? Mine has been stuck in ā€œin processā€ since Jan 8th and hasnā€™t moved - no phone calls or emails have done anything to change thisā€¦ Is need based merit the only option or is there any merit?

No they are definitely a CSS school. Ours FAFSA was submitted on 1/3 and finally processed on 3/15. So hopefully you are about to be processed. And Trinity is a meets need school so its not only merit.

Trinity like many other colleges requires the CSS to assess financial need.
