Triple Major?

Is it a good idea to triple major in Computer Science, Bachelor of arts(voice), and Chinese?

I’ve heard CS is a very demanding major but with a lot of hard work those might be do able if you’re already proficient in chinese. Thats just magus though. Take it with a grain of salt. Good luck!

Not a good idea. Why would you like to have this triple major, and how will it prepare you for the future? How many credits are you coming in with? Are you already fluent in Chinese?

None of these majors have overlapping requirements.

Stick with one major and do well

@sapphiregem, my son is a Vocal Performance major (= BA in voice, I think) and is having a hard time getting going with his 2nd major, due to scheduling conflicts. (He’s going to have to take the freshman sequence in summer school to catch up, and I’m not sure how it’ll work out going forward – looks like not a lot of sections of some of the core classes offered, which reduces flexibility.)

I think it would be really hard to do 3… I suppose you might be able to do Computer Sci & Chinese, and minor in voice… (NOTE: you have to audition for either a major OR a minor in the School of Music, just FYI.)
