trivia games

Just played a few games of bezzerwizzer, but S2 suffered because many of the questions were “before his time”. Any suggestions for a more current trivia game?

trivia crack app

My D just had me download trivia crack tonight. It does seem current, but also very easy so far. She was beating all her friends so needed me for more competition! She will be sorry!

Wits and Wagers can be fun. It’s a trivia game (although a lot of it’s estimations), but you can still do well even if you don’t know many of the answers. They ask questions with some kind of numerical answer that everyone individually gives a guess for the answer. Then you all bet on which answer you think is the closest. I find it still scratches that itch of answering questions but is a lot more fun for people who aren’t typically trivia buffs (or who feels like the questions are out of their area of expertise).

Geek out.

During Christmas break, my kids played QUIZ UP! So much fun- challenging, did I really play a brain surgeon in medical category? Love the art/ literature/ movie categories. Will check out the others suggested above.
QUIZ UP… Great !!!

Trivia Crack is where it’s at!

But…I wish it had more than a 2-day “turn allowance”. I’ve accidentally let some games go because family and other holiday distractions. :frowning:

S just showed me Trivia Crack minutes ago at breakfast - CC’ers are SOOO on top of things!

I play trivia crack too. I have one super weak subject area - sports - and it lets me know everytime! This is your weakest category… So rude.

I stick more to logic and memory games. I’ve been surprised on trying out 7 Little Words that I don’t do worse! Even there I usually end up resorting to strategy to try to get 'em all. Work with I’ve got, lol.

@eyemamom – I also resent the repeated message about sports being my worst category. I am convinced that the spinner lands on sports more often than the other categories but I haven’t delved into my profile to see if that is true. It was a fun diversion while sitting around the fireplace during the Christmas week, but I don’t know that I will return to it.

Entire family was obsessed with Seven Little Words during college tours nearly two years ago. I don’t think I have played since.

We like “It Was a Dark and Stormy Night”, which has cards with the first line of books and you have to guess the author or title. My kids with their liberal arts educations are pretty good at it. I am hit and miss…

quiz up allows you to select topics- within 20 categories are lots and lots so sub categories- literature- ie classic, finish the title, harry potter, British lit, Shakespeare ect ect ect !!!
Movie category has a ton of fun categories, as does science, history, lifestyle, ect ect
I tried Trivia crack, and the spinner take a so long, and random categories, didn’t care for it.
Quiz up- now that’s exciting

Id never heard of trivia crack.
I don’t need any reinforcement of the random bits clogging up my head.

That doesn’t ring for me as, on there, geography is my best subject lol. (Entertainment is by FAR my worst!)
