Could be the most frustrating thing EVER…the longest ‘menu’ to got thru, voice driven by answers, then says go to Apple, and disconnects…redialed again, and ignored most of questions, mumbled a few words, and presto, i got someone with a pulse. ;)

Tried my old trick of pressing to 2 for spanish, but was placed in a menu of spanish questions which i couldn’t understand…some sites have a spanish speaking operator who answers quickly, and i use my lousy 4 years of HS spanish to get me transferred to proper dept. :)

The get2human.com website advises “Press 0 at each prompt, ignoring messages” for Apple. That’s also my default method for various customer service lines, and it works quite often.

Don’t know about Apple, but I managed to get to a live person pretty quickly today on another company’s voice-driven system by saying the word “person” when I was asked to specify options. (It was not among the options offered, but obviously someone had programmed the system to recognize that word. The response was to take me to an “agent”, so that word probably would have worked as well).

Mommaj, i found that site after my initial attempts, and cut cut off at end…but i may not have pressed zero after all 4 prompts…i will try that method next time
