Trying To Find The Right College To Transfer Out Of To Get Into Ivy League?

Does anyone know of any good lower level 4 year colleges with housing available on campus, that have transfers going to top universities(Ivies)?

i really dont think there’s any data on that. so whatever anyone says, it would be normative. be wary.

futuredoctor1234,

You seem to have several threads asking the same question: how can I get into the ivy league? While I’m certaintly no expert, I know that there is no set forumula, or certain school that will get you to the Ivies. I worry that you’re getting too caught up in trying to find a sure-fire method to getting there, that you’re actually missing the point of of what these colleges are looking for in prospective students, and more importantly perhaps, why it is you want to go there.

Don’t worry so much about trying to find the best school with the highest transfer rates to the Ivies. Outside of the top 30, I doubt there are many schools that get more than one or two students in. Focus more on finding the school that can offer what you need. That way, you can thrive there and boost your chances for medical school, or into the Ivy League if you should in fact decide to transfer.

If you’re certain the Ivy League is where you should be, I have heard Cornell has a transfer agreement policy with the surrouding community college(s).

Best of luck :)

I did a search for the thread on Maia and nothing came up. Then I put in the word “prostitute” and nothing came up.

if you’re only looking to get into the ivy league and disregarding everything else about colleges (social aspects, academic offerings) you’ll be in for a very rough college ride.

Also, 4-year colleges usually aren’t created with the intention of sending students to better schools after a few semesters.

This is horrible. We have this format on websleuths.

Eww…when I make a post it goes back to the old format, but when I read the board it says VBullentin. What idiot thought this up?

Hold up. I was just in a new thread in the PARENTS FORUM about why this board was messed up written by jlauer…why does it say I am in TRANSFER FORUM now under a totally different thread? What is going on here???

Something ain’t right here. I tried to respond to the post jlauer made in Parents Forum and it posted my response on some weird thread on the Transfer Students Forum. Huh?

I think that some type of thread re-numbering is occurring.
