I am a Virginia resident currently going to an out-of-state school. The school is a good school, however I just do not think it is the fit for me. My most important reason for wanting to transfer is I am an elementary education major, but here they do not have the 5-year masters program and their curriculum is not as impressive as other schools, especially JMU. I am a freshman and would like to transfer going into my sophomore year. I know this is very hard, however I was accepted to JMU my senior year and am working hard to keep my grades up here. Right now I have a 3.8. I also am involved in a few organizations here. Does anyone know what my chances are of getting in?
Also, in case I am also planning on applying to a few other schools in case I don’t get into JMU, VT and University of Delaware are possibilities.
