Tsunami warning after earthquake off coast of Canada!

<p>Earlier reports said no warnings, but CNN is reporting that a warning for HI is in now effect. Hope everyone will be OK.</p>

<p>Wow, Bunsen, this is the first I’ve heard of it. You people in Hawaii, take cover!!</p>

<p>Initially I thought we were in trouble here in the PNW, but apparently not.

<p>Woke in the middle of the night and popped on the weather channel (yeah, obsessed r us) and was unsettled to see 7.7 quake in British Columbia plus tsunami warning to HI. Yikes. Perhaps our election has offended the gods … hoping to hear if west coasters felt the quake and if HImom is ok and etc…</p>

<p>Ouch. Stay safe everyone. On both coasts!</p>

<p>From what I’ve been able to find, the tsunami warning in Hawaii was downgraded to an advisory as the waves were not as bad as they had projected. No major damage reported, though the harbors are still closed.</p>

<p>They dodged a bullet, it seems.</p>
