My son was recently admitted to AUP as a TA. They said the TTP that was in place for the last 11 years is now called USC Transfer Applicant. I assume they have removed Trojan and Program from the name so there isn’t any appearance of preferential treatment for Legacy’s. The process will work the same way, but they are very clear this is not a guaranteed admittance to USC at the end. Although there never was a guarantee, it was implied if you met the requirements you would
Most likely be admitted. My son is a legacy, so I don’t know if every student not admitted during RD received this option. Rumor is everyone did. If that is the case it will definitely change the path as the number of transfer applicants could increase dramatically. I have a feeling only those who really want USC will ultimately choose this path as it is risky.
