thanks.

I know they have a really strong international relations program.

My daughter has similar stats to you! You should be a match to a slight reach. Tufts is known for international relations and affairs, economics, political science, pre-med, child development and many other areas. Good luck!

we have really good engineering too!

Hey, I am bluirinka’s roommate, also currently a freshman at Tufts. I am a tour guide here and just wanted to point out some stuff regarding your question.

First, the top five most popular majors here at Tufts are International Relations, Biology, Economics, Psychology, and English. However, we also have really good interdisciplinary programs such as Peace and Justice Studies, Community Health, Communications and Media and so on… I would say that you picked a right place to study considering how you are also interested in music and law (you can take classes at NEC and pre-law is pretty popular and strong here at Tufts).

Second, I personally do not like talking about “chances of getting in,” but I do believe in solid SAT II scores. I say if you work more on your SAT IIs that would help you a lot!

Good luck and ask me if you have any more questions.

P.S. Like bluirinka said, we also have an awesome engineering program. Tufts is one of the only Engineering schools in the States that does not suffer from attrition! Fair amount of people from Liberal Arts College actually transfer to Engineering school as well.
