Did you receive an invitation to an interview for ED?

deffered

Historically, Tufts defers only a small percentage of ED1 applicants (typically less than 10%) so if you were deferred, there is still a good chance. My kiddo was deferred last year and then accepted in the regular round, but ended up choosing a different school so…chins up!

Me too. I also got deferred, but as msch2 said, Tufts deferral rates are really low. I had a buddy who got deferred and got in later. Generally it means that they wanted to accept you, but something about your application was off putting to them. If you get good senior grades you have a pretty good shot tbh.

After being deferred last fall, my D also sent a heartfelt LOCI (Letter of Continued Interest) along with an update on new activites/awards/accomplishments. She sent it in early February, after the ED2 applications had been reviewed.

Got deferred as an international(asked for financial aid.)

@cityran I’d love to ask you a few questions about the dual degree. Will send PM. Thanks!

ETA - oops your profile is private and doesn’t allow PM. If you are willing to side chat would you please PM me. Thanks!
