tufts vs ucla

my son got admission in UCLA( for physics letters and sciences) and TUFTS (engineering) for undergraduate study. He is hoping to pursue graduate studies. He is interested in both physics and engineering and hopes to continue these interests in undergrad. the cost is same for both the universities. Which university would be a better fit?

If the cost is the same, I would heavily advise going to Tufts. I actually grew up about 15 minutes from UCLA and attend Tufts now, so I know a fair amount about both schools. Your son will not get the same attention from and accessibility to professors as an undergraduate at UCLA. At Tufts, most of my classes are under 20 people, and I find it very easy to form relationships with my teachers. The engineering school at Tufts is also full of insanely bright students, not to say that UCLA has a shortage of those kinds of people, though.
