tulane and/or UCSB chances?

<p>I am a junior and recently took the SATs which I scored well on, but my GPA isn’t the highest.</p>

<p>SAT-
Reading: 800
Writing: 800
Math: 640</p>

<p>GPA-3.0</p>

<p>I am on two varsity sports, participate in two clubs, have won multiple national writing awards, have been on a service trip to Fiji and have the President’s Volunteer Service Award, Gold.</p>

<p>Do I have any chance of getting into Tulane and/or UCSB?? Thanks!
(Also, I am a New England resident, so I wouldn’t be in state for either)</p>

<p>That GPA hurts, but your SAT is exceptional-- probably good enough to get you in at Santa Barbara. I don’t know about Tulane, sorry.</p>

<p>Your ECs are also very strong, so I wouldn’t worry too much. If you want to give yourself a real push, try taking the ACT or SAT II. I have a feeling you’d score well.</p>
