Ironically, A Chinese rich kid applied to Tulane with a fraudulent HS transcript, and SHE WAS ADMITTED.
This report is backed by evidence of a video call recording. During the call, due to her indiscretion, this Chinese applicant(Yingxin “Rachel” Xue) disclosed the process of grade fabrication herself:
“Actually, it is no different than stealing the HS school seal. My mother came to a director in my HS school for help. The director of the school works in the office of academic affairs. The director agreed to help me in cheating, so I gave the transcript to him. He took it when no one was in the office. Then he secretly stamped it and took it out for me. THE GRADES LOOK GOOD, AND THEY WERE ALL MODIFIED BY MYSELF.”
The above is directly quoted from the translation of the recording, which has been certified and notarized to ensure accuracy. The subtitles were added verbatim according to the certified translation.
Yingxin unfairly takes her admission spot. Now Yingxin is a student in A. B. Freeman School of Business, Bachelor of Science in Management, majoring in Finance, and she is also a member of Delta Sigma Pi and Phi Sigma Pi at Tulane.
What can you do now?

Sorry for the students who are rejected or still waiting for decision. You may deserve better!
Hope this can also provide some guidance if you are still undecided about your final choice.
@AH1310 I did reach out to the transfer counselor and asked her if we should do Loyola or stick to a college close to home and she said that Loyola was fine. I do wonder if we will end up on-line no matter where we start?
Fall is the big unknown for all colleges. I haven’t heard of one yet that said with 100% certainty they are going online in the fall … only that all schools were preparing for it. If I hear anything I’ll post to this board, but I don’t expect that to be until June at the earliest.
has anyone received any emails from tulane after being waitlisted? i read on jeff’s blog that they send out emails asking if we would like to remain waitlisted but i haven’t received any…
I called the admissions office yesterday and they told me that the next round of waitlist decisions will be sent by the end of May. Goodluck everyone!!
Lots of colleges in TX have announced they plan to be on campus for the fall. At a virtual town hall meeting for parents early last week, The President said their clear intention was to start in person and in an email today he said they are confident they will start in person - with some necessary and wise adjustments for COVID-19 of course.
