So I just found out that my parents forgot to to sign their tax returns which were already late when the turned those in. So now we have to turn in new signed ones in August even though they were due Feb 15. Does that pretty mean my chances of financial aid are over?

Also, in a separate problem, in my pending financial aid package no mention of work study is included in both my student center and my bursar account. Is there any way I can get work study back?

Call the Bursar and the Financial Aid office?

It happened to me before. You’re finaid is not over. I believe if you turn it in now, the money will be credited to you by October.
I’d call the office about the work study thing.

This happened to me as well…We actually didn’t turn in our tax returns in until the beginning of September. We always file our returns late in the year and explained this to the university, but we still had a hefty struggle. The consequence was that I wasn’t technically a “registered student” when I arrived on campus–the resulting restrictions were minimal. Once everything was submitted I didn’t have any issues.

As long as your tax returns don’t reveal any major variances from what the rest of your FAFSA profile, etc. reported, you shouldn’t have a problem
The fin aid office only talks tough to get people to do what they want.
