Tuskegee Scholarship, weighted GPA or unweighted?

My friend wants to apply to Tuskegee with me, but she can’t afford it without merit aid. (She’s middle to upper middle class, but her parents can’t give her much with 2 other kids entering college a 2 years after her.) She has a 3.3 UW GPA, but a 3.8 Weighted and 1380 CRM. Would Tuskegee still give her the scholarship? We know most are unweighted only, but Tuskegee never states that on their website and suggests that all applicants to their school complete several IB/AP courses, which gives the impression that they expect weighted grades.

Why not ask the school directly if you cannot find that on the web site?

Note that if the school uses weighted GPA, ask if it recalculates its own weighted GPA for that purpose.

If it uses unweighted GPA, then 3.3 / 1380 gets her a $10,000 scholarship, according to http://www.tuskegee.edu/scholarships/freshman_scholarships.aspx . It looks like yearly cost of attendance is in the mid-$30,000s range, though variable by dorm choice and how much one’s miscellaneous costs are.

To anyone who wants to know in the future, Tuskegee accepts the weighted GPA.
