Tution hike in the spring - are they helping?

I was wondering if anyone has had experience dealing with the bursar regarding the new tuition hike in spring! Are they trying to help or just reiterating the options you already had prior to the hike?

Due to the rising dollar, I am in a very tough financial situation and the 300+ tution increase is the breaking point for me. This, on top of the existing crisis, means that I won’t be able to eat on my budget.

So, has anyone contacted the bursar about this? I will call them soon, but was just wondering if they are willing to work with you or are just following the same procedures.

What do you mean by “work with you?” All the bursar can do is take your money. They can’t help you meet expenses. (Or are you talking about payment plans?)

You might want to check in with Financial Aid after the holidays.

Chris

Yes, providing more flexible plans. I might call the financial aid office and discuss this with them. I was just wondering if other students had already contact them.
