Son was home for Spring Break this week, and we have been TiVoing Medium, a show we have watched together since it started.

I won’t spoil the ending, but I was sobbing like a baby at the series finale.

I don’t know if it hit me so much because son is a freshman in college, so I was emotional about something we did together ending, coincidentally with him turning 19, his last year as a “teenager”, but it was also a feeling that I was losing a “family member” with the death of the show.

As son is an only child, he really enjoyed the family dynamics of the girls and their parents, and of course, being a boy, he just thought the girls were so cute. I’m sure he had a major crush on the middle daughter. But he absolutely loved the youngest, Marie, as he watched her grow up from a baby to a schoolgirl.

Anyone else used to watch this show and will now miss it?

Remember, use spoiler alerts if you reveal the series ending. It is now rerunning on Lifetime, and don’t want new converts to be “spoiled”.

I have always enjoyed this show, especially the more normal house & family. Not the perfect $1MM house that most prime time shows are set in. I did not reaise it was ending, obviously I am behind!

I did see a RHOBH episode where someone was introduced as Allison DuBois and the show, Medium, is supposed to be about her life. Her obnoxious behaviour made me want to never watch again. :(

I never knew Medium was based on a real person until the finale. There was a “Where are they now” like they do in movies, and it said that the “real” Allison Dubois and her husband and kids were doing such and such.

I’m glad I didn’t see the “real” Allison.

I like the fictional one just fine.

Check out Lifetime so you can catch up on what you missed!

I really liked that show a lot and I, too, am glad I saw it all before I saw that episode of RHOBH. The real Allison DuBois comes off as a total *itch. And, really, I can’t help but laugh at title of the show about those women … ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’. I doubt seriously there’s much of anything real about any of them.

I really liked the show and was sorry to see it go. The oldest kid drama usually annoyed me (so whiny). I liked the middle and youngest kid.

^^^Oh, yes, that oldest girl got her way WAY too much. Then she goes to Dartmouth. Yea, right!

Loved the show since the beginning but it had run its course. Not that dead people talk to me or anything but I can so relate to the waking up at night. Hope to see some of these actors in a new role soon.
