My husband and I have just started Parenthood (years late) but are loving it!!!
H and I just finished The West Wing and asked both Ds what we should watch next. One said SOA, and the other said Justified. We haven’t made up our minds yet!
If you like WW than try Sports Night by the same guys. Only two seasons I think.
I LOVED WW, but sobbed in every episode going forward until the end when Leo died. It was emotionally draining for those five or six episodes.
@teriwtt Go with Justified. Sons declined rapidly after a few great seasons, whereas Justified is knocking it out of the park with its final season this year. Also, if I may make an alternate suggestion: if you haven’t seen The Shield yet, it’s a must. It and Sons have quite a few similarities, but The Shield is better in every way possible.
@OHMomof2 Controversial opinion: Spartacus is better than Game of Thrones.
@Writer1992 Friday Night Lights is AMAZING. Probably my favorite show of all time.
@marisa58 - that IS controversial! I think I prefer GOT but Spartacus certainly had its moments…
I loved The Shield.
Currently really dig Vikings. And Outlander, though you can hardly binge on only 8 episodes, so far.
Black Mirror. Only six episodes, so only a day’s worth of bingeing. It is a British scifi show sort of like the Twilight Zone.
I just binged on the 1980 BBC version of “Love in a Cold Climate,” based on the Nancy Mitford novels. Very fun.

^^^ or just lack of self control? (Guilty as charged. I’m not safe around ice cream, either.)
Has Person of Interest been mentioned?
Have to disagree about SOA deteriorating after a couple of good seasons. One of the best things about Sons is the diverse and amazingly experienced cast it had through the years. One of the strengths of the series is the excellent acting work. The seasons with Jimmy Smits shouldn’t be missed. His performance was stellar and he was only in the final three seasons. .
Just finished the first two episodes of this one. Lots of familiar faces – Branson was in episode 1, Lady Sybil in episode 2. I believe Jon Hamm is in one of them, too. Gotta say, the premise of the first episode was shocking @-) . I’m really curious about the rest of the series now.
