Lately, I’ve been preferring to watch TV shows (Mad Men, Entourage) instead of movies. I know there’s an artistic bias toward movies (or “films”), but in my opinion, well-written TV shows can be better because they allow more story arcs and character development. What do you think?

TV shows last what, 10 hours per season? Of course the writers have a better ability to work on the story and characters for a longer length of time when compared to a 2.5 hour movie.

Although, with a show like Lost, this may not be such a good thing, as the writers don’t have to have an actual storyline, they can just make stuff up as they go along…
