Twins

^ :), I think you are very right on both points. Wow, I can’t believe my personality comes across so much in my posts lol.

Pyar, as I said I am an adult twin. I completely understand everything in your post…my sis and I are four minutes apart. The funny thing is, as time goes on, things in the dynamic between the two of you will likely change. Particularly if you attend different colleges. Your twin will discover that he can stand on his own feet and after some adjustment, may relish being on his own.

There will probably be times down the road where you won’t be the more confident, successful one. And then it will flip again…

For now, you can only be sensitive, which you obviously are, to everything that is going on.

My parents spent a lot of time trying to make sure that everything between my twin and I was fair. Sometimes it just wasn’t because sometimes life just isn’t fair.

Later, much later, you may laugh together about some of this stuff. I’ll give you an example. My twin had her first date almost a year before mine. I was hurt by it…stayed home alone while she went to the dance. Many years later, the guy declared publicly that he was a homosexual.

I called her and was like “okay then he didn’t count so I did have my first date before you.” We still laugh about it almost 25 years later…

hahaha  I totally get what your are saying. I hope we will be like that when we grow up. My brother was voted Best Dressed (LOL) so I guess he can hold that against me.
