Twitter- Parents- do you have it and use it?

Twitter - if you set up to follow certain news and weather - twitter gives you more instant breaking news before it can be constructed into an official story - really helpful with traffic, storms. I don’t really see the need to tweet but if you have a problem with a product or company, you can (not always) get quick responses because your complaint is public.

I use Twitter a little bit. I find it useful in getting latest news, but otherwise suffer from information overload. I also have an Instagram account, sometimes put pictures up on Instagram, and I even have a Vine account, which is like Instagram but consists of 6 second videos. Mostly a waste of time - occasionally entertaining.

I only use it occasionally when I’m watching an awards show, or a favorite tv series and like to see what other people think of the events as they unfold.

I have a Twitter account. I’ve only used it so I could know how the away high school footballs game were going and when they were over. That way I had a general idea when I needed to get in my car and drive over to pick up my son. He was in marching band. I’ll be using it again next year since my youngest will be in marching band. It works a lot better than sitting around wondering when they may need to be picked up…

I signed up for it purely to be able to access a couple of sites that require it for access. I never use it (I may have tweeted once or twice to get extra free data ability on tunnelbear). I was amused and somewhat puzzled to get notice of some followers. They must be really bored.

Nope. Not interested.

Just be careful when you type your tweets on your smart(a$$)phone. Typos and autocorrects happen!

:)

I wonder what the appropriate autocorrected response would be…
