Two Arrests in UConn Hit and Run Fatality

<p>I have not seen this tragedy mentioned on CC. A freshman girl was struck and killed a few weeks ago crossing the street returning to her dorm. Police just arrested the driver and his passenger who are charged with multiple felonies. There was apparently alcohol involved.</p>

<p>edit: scrolling down I now see another thread on this topic titled overprotective parents … same incident, different article. I linked with the student daily newspaper – the other thread links with newsday.</p>

<p>I hope they arrest the parents of the some of the students who killed this girl since they were trying hush up the whole incident and treated it as if killing a student is routine on a campus and nothing to worry about.</p>

<p>This wasn’t just moment or two of panic or indecision. These kids and the driver’s parents made a concerted effort to cover up their crime. They should all go to jail for a long time. What sickening people.</p>
