<p>I completed two semesters of spanish at SUNY Albany and received two A-'s (3.7). I am full time at UVA and they dont transfer over the GPA, they only transfered over the credits. </p>

Amcas recognizes A-'s. They’ll just fold in like all the other hours. </p>
<p>For GPA purposes Suny hours are the same as UVA hours. In fact, for AMCAS purposes, so are community college hours taken in high school as dual credit courses. They don’t give a whit what UVA does.</p>
<p>i didnt even consider more weight to it…i suppose i was just wondering if those credits will just be thrown into all my UVA coursework…and now that I know it does, I’m pretty happy</p>
