When do you find out if you got an interview for UPENN if you are applying ED? Do you first have to submit your application?

Is 32 too low for Wharton?

In my S case, Penn scheduled an interview with a local Alumni after application submission.

There is no cutoff score for ACT and I think 32 is about average or maybe slightly below average for Wharton.

Not everyone is contacted for an interview, but in most cases you will receive an email from an alum after you have submitted your application. In the case of ED, it will probably be soon after since the adcom only has 6 weeks to review apps.

As for the 32, what really matters is context. If you’re coming from a competitive high school that has a track record of sending kids here, the adcom might look more harshly on “low” standardized test scores. Otherwise, though, a 32 is just fine. My advice: Make your essays count!
