Two of my schools (SIS & MSFS) have not changed the status of my application...

I sent my transcripts to Tufts, Columbia, Johns-Hopkins, Georgetown, and American at the end of December, yet neither Georgetown nor American have acknowledged receiving them while all of the others have. I’ve tried contacting the schools, but no one has answered in the offices when I call and my emails receive canned responses of “it takes seven to ten days” to process these documents, even though I’ve explained that I understand that and that’s exactly why I’ve contacted them.

Should I be worried, or is it really just a result of a flood of apps? Anyone else having this problem?

I applied to Georgetown as well, and did delivery confirmation. According to the USPS website, the material got there, so I think they just take a while to match records and update information. I wouldn’t worry about it.

I called Georgetown today (the main grad school admissions, not the MSFS office, as per a recent email from MSFS). After a bunch of number-punching rigmarole, I got through to someone who said it appeared that my application was already under review.

Tried SIS again, no response.
