Two Questions about 1. Dorm policy on tacks/nails, 2. Class scheduling

On 1. It says for move in, on posters and pictures, small tacks only. So, I was wondering, if I had nails as thin as small tacks and used a stud finder, can I put nails in the wall?

I had exactly 13 units but i found out yesterday that my seminar was canceled. I intend to speak to a teacher about a class I’m waitlisted for and will probably get, however for now I only have 12 units. Should I scramble to find another class to fill the slot?

yes you should. you don’t want to be caught with less than 13, especially if you receive financial aid.

It’s best that you don’t make any holes in the walls in general. I suggest using 3M self-adhesive and painters tape (for your posters). You never know why maintenance will charge you. Best avoid all possibilities.

12 units is full-time for financial aid, but it is under the 13 unit minimum (at least for L&S).

Take a decal

Thank you everyone. :] I really appreciate it.

Ahh, about DeCals, I was planning on taking one anyway and dropping that seminar, so would that be okay?

^^ Yes. Decals are your friend. You have to keep checking for them, because they come up in spurts and you don’t want to miss the first meeting or you’re generally screwed.

I believe that 4 units of P/NP credit is the maximum amount that you can take per semester.
