<p>I dont think anyone here can tell you for sure. It’s really up to admissions; however, just know that when they look at your application your rank isnt the thing that will make or break it. Its really more of a nice plus if you are highly ranked (i.e. 5% or higher). Duke takes a very holistic approach and takes all the different parts of your app into account. At the same time though, if you are anywhere below the top 20% it might not be such a good thing. As for your 7th semester grades, they do matter since you have to send them in (if you’re applying RD). They want to see a kid that doesnt slack off his senior year. As for last semester though, it doesnt really matter at all. After I got in ED last year, I re-scheduled myself for a slack spring semester. One of my friends who also got in ED only took 2 out of 4 classes a day that last semester. So, no worries there.</p>
