First, I’d like to know the law-school acceptance rate. Second, I’ve read that applying early does not help (and may actually hurt). Is this true?

Bump…could I please get a reply?

applying early definietly helps, i dont know where u hrd that I applied ED and got in and my gpa and SAT werent that bad but they werent the close to the average at ROchester. But i did show a lot of interest and some hooks like community service etc.

Now, how about the law school placement?

not sure cus i m interested in medicine sry call them up or research their site

Read a book

Hmm. You see, I try e-mailing them…it’s been 5 days, they haven’t gotten back to me.

Thanks for being so helpful. Have you people forgotten what this board is all about?

I reckon the admission counselors are on vacation because I also emailed them about the other thing, and even called them up last Friday, leaving a voice message, but no feedback so far.

We want to help you, but we know nothing of it, and don’t want to give out wrong information. So sorry!

I wasn’t being sarcastic, HeavenWood. Go pick up a USNews magazine or guide book… or even check out their website. They have every stat you could ever want/need.

Law School: 88%
Med School: 86%

hopkinslax, do you know what the pre-med average gpa is?

88%? Awesome…now I’m DEFINITELY applying…I can probably get in easy RD, but to play it safe I might apply ED…

they do have ED II if ur interested too where u just say u want to go ED around january if u want to wait…

100% of students with at least a 3.6 GPA were accepted to Medical School

hopkinslax, do we have any physical education requirement?

in terms of pre-law, I emailed a while ago here is there stats.

nice letter there…and about phys.ed., i thought there weren’t any requirements except for the writing thing…although that may be academically…but i don’t think u have to take phys.ed., it’s just how much time u want to spend in the gym…i guess its how well u want to manage ur time…part of being an adult…

There are no requirements except for the writing program that every freshman must do, but I think it is good to do because you will see what is expected of your writing in college and you’ll have a chance to better it over high school.

Thanks, suman and hopkinslax!! :)

yeah, i’m looking forward to improving my writing…what are the choices of the writing course?
