1)Can students bring Macs or PCs to campus or is one preferred?
2)When do students accepted ED get their Lafayette email address?

<p>1) Either works great on campus and most professors who require students to install software on their laptops for certain courses try their best to make sure that both Mac and PC versions are available, although I have seen that for some math/science/engineering courses Mac software is sometimes not available. I wouldn’t worry about it though, since there are a ton of PC’s in Skillman Library and Mac’s in the library’s media lab for when you specifically need a Mac or PC for a certain task.</p>
<p>2) I believe both ED and RD students get their Lafayette email address sometime in May, after all students who have chosen to enroll send in the deposit. They will send the email ID and a temporary password along with a bunch of other stuff in the mail to help you get started out.</p>
