I interviewed with a national lab three days ago (in California). I just got an offer today, when they said it would take at least a month to evaluate the candidate. I was in the process of writing my TY notes to the interviewers until I got an e-mail for an offer.

So, what exactly do I say in the TY notes other than I enjoyed interviewing with you, etc. blah blah? Any suggestions?

i would send the TY notes, the people you interviewed with ( depending on the size of the company) may not know you have an offered or the specifics… the note is probably more improtant than the content … you might say ------ thanks for the time interviewing me at compnay XYZ. I enjoyed hearing about (possibly something specifc with each person). I was offered a job and will ( or will Not) be taking it (or I am considerign it). I look forward to seeing you at company XYZ or I look ofrward to working with you in industry in the future (((this sort of thing))
