Typical Biomedical Engineer Coursework for Freshman Year?

Help, jw 10char

Fall:
Engineering analysis 1 (combination of linear algebra/Matlab)
Chem 101 / 171 (intro to chem, either 3 quarter sequence or two quarter sequence, depending on AP credit/palcement test)
Math 230 (mv calc, assuming you have AP Calc credit)
Elective/EDC1

Winter:
Engineering analysis 2 (physics mechanics/dynamics)
Chem 102 / 172
Math 234 (second quarter of mv calc)
Elective/EDC1

Spring:
Engineering analysis 3 (systems dynamics)
Chem 103 / Elective
EDC2
Elective

Electives may be humanities classes, or other basic engineering courses, like statistics, material science, or physics. Many students also take BME 101 (0 credit seminar) in winter or spring

If you are offered the honors section for engineering analysis (EA), you may take EA3 and EA4 simultaneously during spring quarter. Math 230/234 may also be replaced with the honors engineering math sequence (also two quarters)

Wait…does biomed eng. WITH PREMED change that at all?
