What is the typical class schedule for a freshman engineering student?

Multivariable Calculus (MATH 192) or Single Variable Calculus (MATH 191)
Intro to Computer Science (COMS 100)
Freshmen Writing Seminar
Intro to Engineering (ENGRI XXX)
Possibly a physical science (chemistry or physics)
Engineering Seminar
PE

1st Semester:
Single Var. Calc: 191 (192 if you get a 5 on BC)
Freshmen Writing Seminar
Chemistry (or Physics if you have AP Credit)
ENGRG 150 (Weekly meeting with Advisor)
Phys Ed
Intro to Engineering Course or Com Sci

2nd Semester: This one can really vary depending on what kind of advanced placement you got, etc., but here is what College of Engineering at least expects:
More Math(192 Multi, 293 Diff. Eq, 294 Linear Alg.)
Science(More Chem (if you’re a ChemE, BioE, Premed), Physics)
Com Sci or ENGRI (whichever one you didn’t take)
Freshmen Writing Seminar
~if you have AP credit you will probably start moving into more sophmore type classes during 2nd semester if you so choose. For example, I took Com Sci 100 first semester and this semester I decided to take 211 in addition.
