TYPO IN SUPPLEMENT HELP will chance back or respond to anything if you help

I submitted my American University application last night, but in reviewing my supplement, I realized that I wrote “a pierce of legislation” rather than “a piece of legislation”
HELPP
I’m freaking out…
should I send an email?
What do I do
please help

What you should do is breathe, relax and forget about it.
It is obvious what you meant to write, and obvious that it is a typo. Admissions officers understand typos and one typo will not harm your application.
Sending an email will just call attention to the mistake.

Pierce is a obvious typo. Be thankful it’s not “peace of legislation”.

Good point! Than you

hahaha than

Although I do think our polarized Congress probably could use some “peace of legislation”…

I found a good half dozen typos in my application. I’m sure it’s fine, don’t stress out.

That’s a TINY typo.
Admissions Officers are probably going too fast to catch such an error anyway - like everyone else, their brain’s self-correct.
