Typos in essays

Hello, I applied to a school three days ago. However, after submission, I noticed a total of three typos in the three essays I submitted.

  1. In one of my essays, I refer to a professor, but instead of calling him Professor {First Name} {Second name}, I only wrote {First Name} {Second name}. Do you think this is disrespectful? It also turns out that the professor will be going on leave the following year, but I do not know if he will be coming back. I did not know about this at the time of my application. So I am unsure if this would be a problem.

  2. In another essay, there is one unnecessary word, creating a grammar mistake, and it makes the sentence a little confusing. Interestingly, on the Google doc I worked on, the issue is not present, but on my common app submissions, there is an error. I guess some autocorrection happened as I copied the text into the common app, and I missed it.

  3. Lastly, there is a character that is not in the English. It is only one character, so there is a “?” instead of one of the characters.

What do you think about these issues? I feel like each individual mistake is fine, but with all of them combined, it might look a little off. What should I do? Should I contact the admissions office?

See: Clam fart! Oh my God... What did I do?!

Do not worry about these issues. At all.

Definitely do NOT contact admissions.

Do fix these issues in any future apps.

Good luck.

I think typos make it look like you did the work yourself as opposed to a profession essay writer. If I were a reader, I would not hold it against you.
