U Alabama Huntsville chem eng program?

If you like biochemistry, and go to UA-H, would it be smarter to major in chem eng?

The reason for liking biochem is because she ‘likes organic molecules’!

What is the difference between biochem and chem eng?

I am che major from Huntsville (although I go to UA). I do know that UAH has a respectable engineering program. Huntsville is a hotbed for technology, especially the aerospace and defense industry. We are home to dozens of corporations including Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Adtran, and not to mention Redstone Arsenal employs large amounts of engineers. I’m not sure the job potential for CHE in Huntsville compared to other engineers but I’d be willing to bet the house that finding a job will be no difficult task. UAH has good relationships with many of the business (the large ones I mentioned as well as other smaller companies) so if you utilize your resources right and work hard you will end up in a great position.

You mentioned bio and I know that there are a few biotechnology companies here as well as I remember my friend who works in that field mentioning that a large biotech firm is looking to expand here.
