<p>hi iam a asian male living in california plz chance me iam (aiming for mid/lower tier UCs)</p>

<p>im Borning in CHina not US came here 7 years ago, iam a citizen</p>

<p>iam very poor I live with my mom in an Apartment(my dad is in a Nursing home - my mom is trying to get a divorce form him )</p>

<p>My mom’s Yearly Income is 17k (17000)</p>

<p>1st Gen college</p>

<p>Iam was Publicis for Acc( asian cluture club) 10th grade, and secretary 11th grade</p>

<p>3 year Varsity tennis school’s #1 single Junior year, maby senior too but don’t kown yet X.X</p>

<p>well, as long as you keep your UC GPA at least above a 3.00, and get at least 1500 on the SAT1, and then 500 on both of your SAT2s you are considered UC eligible. And if you’re UC eligible, you are guaranteed a spot at one of the campus’s (most likely merced or riverside).</p>

SC=low reach/high match
Riverside, Merced= Match - (Safety, i guess, since cali residents are guaranteed a spot as long as you are UC eligible).</p>

<p>You can be pretty confident of nailing the lower UCs and possibly getting into a couple of the middle tier, like SC and davis, irvine, etc.</p>

<p>looks nice. If you can, go to the library and borrow some SAT prep books and try to achieve higher scores so you can have a better chance at the better UC’s.</p>

<p>Well, UCR and UCM are matches for u. UCSC, UCI, UCD are reaches. so is UCSB.
try CSUs. some are better than some UCs (no offense) and try some OOS (out of state) schools. itll prob. increase ur chances. well good luck!</p>
