I do think there is a lot of funding for study abroad. It is something Michigan has been focusing on. It is also one of these things that are hard to compare across schools. Some give lots of funding up front, but it is hard to find other funding. Others have lots of targeted funding kids can access for specific experiences. It is hard to really figure out what overall costs will be when comparing schools. Relative to most state schools, it seem like Michigan has more of the extra funding.
