How are the busses at U of I? Are they relatively quick to go from point A to point B (say like 1 or 2 miles away)?
In answer to your question, yes. They’re plentiful, and as long as point B isn’t off the usual track traveled by students, getting there is no problem. Just remember that they’re buses. You wait for them. They don’t wait for you. Sometimes they’re crowded. If you don’t get a seat, learn to hang on to the numerous bars and straps they have, or you’ll get bounced around like a basketball, but won’t fare as well after the bouncing has subsided. You can take them to get to class, and back to your off-campus housing, malls, amtrak, downtown Champaign and Urbana, movie theaters, grocery stores, etc.
